Changes can be made before production begins. Once construction starts, structural changes aren't possible  though finishing decisions sometimes have a small window of flexibility.

What fabrics work best in Dubai?

For upholstered dressing tables, velvet is the most popular choice  it photographs beautifully, feels luxurious, and holds up well in air-conditioned environments. Its main weakness is that it collects dust and pet hair, so if you have cats or dogs, a performance linen or faux leather is more practical.
